can i have some cheese with that whine?

isn’t it amazing how a quote or a song can completely change your whole perspective in a hard situation? i’ve often at times read quotes for some sort of inspiration this time i read this:

if he’s dumb enough to walk away, then be smart enough to let him go

well ain’t that the truth? maybe he’s not dumb but i should be smart and just let it go.  there was a time when i broke up with someone and thought it was the end of the world.   shouldn’t i be feeling like that again? no! absolutely not.  there’s something better out there for me it just keeps getting better and i’m excited to find it. i don’t want to waste my energy on something that was never meant to be and if it was well i think we will find our way back to each other.

here i go again…

this time no clue what happened.  i kindda feel like JGL in (500) Days of Summer except unlike 500 days it was only 128 yep i got out a calculator to try and figure that out for the sole purpose of this entry.  128 days does sound incredibly short compared to relationships i’ve had in the past but out of those 128 days we probably only missed seeing each other 5 times.  he even went to the philippines to meet my ENTIRE family.  hell, you win some you lose some but one thing i know for certain is everything happens for a reason.

reason? no idea but time will only tell.

all this post really means is that joseph gordon levitt your my hero only because you played Tom and i know i should already know this with or without the movie but it always makes me feel better to know that after summer there’s autumn :)

Blue Valentine was depressing as all hell but i surprisingly loved it… favorite quote from the movie has to be from Ryan Gosling (Dean) and his take on what women are in search of:

“Women go off looking for Prince Charming, and then settle for the guy with the best job, who can take care of them. Whereas men resist and resist until we meet one girl and we think, ‘I’d be an idiot if I didn’t marry this girl.’”

and after movie i figured out exactly what i want in life and what i am in search of…ryan gosling.
